Description

Hand-colored cased photograph (daguerreotype, 3 1/2" x 2 1/2"), of mixed heritage Wyandot couple. Isaac Brown (1826-) was the son of Adam Brown, Jr. and brother of Nancy Brown Guthrie. Eliza (1830-) wears a wide brim hat and long shawl. A wampum belt with a stylized bird pattern hangs down from her hat and extends over her shoulders.
