Description: Studio portrait of a Native American woman identified on the accompanying envelope as "Kate Gray-Eyes. A Wyandot Indian Woman, sister of Mary Steel, daughter of ____ Gray-Eyes." The accompanying material further states that the image was "secured in the Wyandot Nation, Indian Territory, about the year 1895. William E. Connelley." The case is hand painted.
